We enjoyed a beautiful Saturday in the quarry with Kevin Bogdan, geologist with Vulcan Materials.  Kevin completed his Master's degree thesis on the Notasulga Quarry.  His knowledge of the quarry was amazing and really helped us to locate some great specimens of garnet, feldspar crystals, Molybdinite, Smoky Quartz and Plagioclase.
